Personal Inland Marine

State Auto’s Personal Inland Marine policy is designed to provide broad coverage for furs, jewelry, musical instruments, photographic equipment, silver, stamps, farm equipment, hearing aids, livestock, sports equipment, tools, and other collectibles. Inland Marine coverage for many classes of property is also available under our Homeowners Options policy.

Watercraft

Most types of watercraft are eligible for coverage either by endorsement to your Homeowners policy or by writing a Pleasure Boat (i.e. 26 feet or under in length) or a Yacht policy (i.e. watercrafts more than 26 feet long). Either option provides broad coverage for damage to the watercraft as well as liability and medical payments coverage. Depending on the contract and coverages selected, we can cover outboard motors, on-board equipment, trailers and personal property. In some states, we also offer coverage for accidents caused by uninsured boaters.
